Kenneth is an eye catching 71ft 6” Trad Butty built by Dave Thomas & fitted out by DB Boat fitters to an exceptionally high standard. From the exterior Kenneth has the appearance of a traditional historic working butty boat whilst internally it is tastefully modern with some elements of a traditional working boat. Hot water & central heating is supplied by Bubble. There is a Boatman solid fuel stove. The Beta 28hp engine is situated at the bow which is uncommon in most narrowboats. The reason for this is so that it is quiet when cruising along the canal so you can enjoy hearing the nature around you. There is also a Hercules hydraulic drive and an Axiom propeller in the helm to further assist the propulsion. The extensive electrics include: 240v landline, 2 x 2000w Victron inverters, a 7.5kw generator, 1 starter & 5 leisure batteries. 5 berth with a cross bed, a dinette in the front cabin that converts to a single and a convertible double in the Boatman’s cabin. There are 2 bathrooms on board. The main bathroom is a walkthrough bathroom and it contains a macerator pump-out toilet, a shower and a vanity basin. The second bathroom contains a macerator pump-out toilet and a vanity basin. The galley is equipped with a cooker, a 12v Shoreline Fridge, a 12v Shoreline freezer, a Miele washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a microwave and granite worktops. BSC 2022. Blacked 2017 (2 pack). 4 x side hatches. Kenneth is a fantastic vessel that has been cleverly designed to make a comfortable live aboard.
