Welcome to Royal Clarence Marina

Once the Royal Navy Victualling Yard, Royal Clarence is a deep water marina of 145 berths, accessible at all states of the tide. Its fantastic sheltered position, close to the mouth of Portsmouth harbour provides excellent access to the Solent, making it the perfect base for cruising the south coast, Isle of Wight or France.

The marina has a traditional maritime feel with views over Portsmouth’s historical dockyard and the Spinnaker Tower from across the harbour in Gosport. So if the weather is inclement there’s always the bustling Gunwharf Quays to entertain you with its shops, restaurants, bars and cinema.

The marina office and facilities have recently been relocated directly opposite the pontoons on the water’s edge, enabling easier access for berth holders and visitors alike. Alongside this, the quayside now hosts several restaurants and cafés which have proven extremely popular both as a hideaway on the slightly cooler days and somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine with a drink in the Summer.

If you are looking for a quite marina with deeper or larger berths than most boats need, accessible at all states of the tide, no swell, almost no tide, heavier duty pontoons and great facilities, Royal Clarence is the perfect place for you.
